Skincare for Sensitive Eyes

The skin on your face definitely needs and deserves a little extra care, particularly if you have sensitive skin. But the delicate area underneath your peepers needs even more special attention. After all, it is one of the thinnest areas on the body. And while it might be tempting to use your regular facial moisturiser and other products to give the undereye area the love it deserves, eye cream for sensitive eyes is a must. Whether you’re battling dark undereye circles, puffiness or dry skin, Innoxa has you covered.

When it comes to finding the best eye cream for dark circles, sensitive skin is always looked after at Innoxa. All of our eye products – including our eye makeup – are not only ophthalmologically tested to ensure they’re kind to your eyes, but also independently dermatologist tested to ensure they don’t cause reactions, redness or irritation on the surrounding skin.

Dark undereye circles are a common concern, but fortunately, there’s a lot you can do about it, using both skincare and eye makeup. Regularly using a dark circles eye cream as part of your daily skincare routine is the first step. After cleansing your skin, applying any sensitive skin serums and moisturising your face, take a small amount of eye cream and lightly dab and tap it under the eye area. Eye cream usually contains potent ingredients, so you only need a small amount – no more than a pea-sized amount for each eye.

After applying an eye cream for sensitive eyes, follow your usual makeup routine, starting with a sensitive skin primer. Then turn to colour-correcting cream to hard do away with dark circles even further! Using yellow or a peach/orange colour corrector will help to neutralise the purple and blueish tones of undereye circles. Apply a thin layer of colour corrector over your dark undereye circles, gently blend with your fingers or a brush to work into your skin, and then use a beauty sponge or your fingers to apply a foundation formulated for sensitive skin over the top. Gently press your foundation onto your skin, rather than rubbing, so that the colour doesn’t shift.

If you’re one of many who suffers from dry, sensitive skin around the eyes, we can help with that, too! Innoxa has the best eye cream for dry, sensitive skin, packed with enriching ingredients like Snap7, which helps to reduce lines, wrinkles and other signs of ageing and prevents new lines from forming, and Haloxyl, which reduces the appearance of dark undereye circles. For dry, sensitive eye cream, you cannot go past Innoxa’s hypoallergenic, skin-loving range.
